Our Lab had the incredible privilege of creating an immersive experience to present Catalunya’s upcoming Centre for Digital Culture, La Foneria, in Barcelona.

This Mixed Reality adventure offered a sneak peek into the building’s future, allowing users to visualise its spaces, enjoy a sample of digital art, and experiment with visual algorithms. As they stepped into the heart of the former cannon foundry wearing Meta Quest Pro glasses, users could touch, learn, and play with art and technology through interactive experiences.

To promote the project, our team also crafted a short presentation video, which we were excited to share. We used NeRF algorithms to scan the building's interior and brought it to life with Unreal Engine’s real-time technology. The film captured the very essence of La Foneria—a promotional piece that was disruptive in its own right, mirroring the innovation of the upcoming project.

Art pieces by Alba G. Corral and Alice Labourel beautifully crowned the experience.
